Product Report - October 2024

We are heading to the last part of the year with lots of news as we continue working to make SEOcrawl the best software in the SEO market. Want to know what we have implemented throughout October? Keep on reading to learn more!

Blended Data within Rank Tracker

We announced it some weeks ago when it was still in beta testing, but it is now official: now you can see all projects with data collected Google Search Console and Google Analytics, all at once! It's as easy as entering the Rank Tracker function - Pages to see all the data available for each of your URLs. Choose the date range you want to analyze, set up your smart views, use advanced filters, set up alerts, and more! Without a doubt, this is one of the most powerful functions on SEOcrawl and one of the most proud we are about.

SEOcrawl Book Launch

We were dying to tell you about this! All the work we've done since SEOcrawl entered the market, and especially over the last months has now been poured into a physical format that we love: our first book, SEO Reporting.

If you are not quite sure how to display the results of your SEO efforts, or you think there is still more to get from the data offered on SEOcrawl when performing your analyses and reports, here is the answer. Our book goes deep into detail about how to make the most out of all the data included in the tool, from the previous steps (how to set up a project) to the daily management aspects that will help you keep everything under control, like task management and the automation capabilities that our software enables.

But let's give David Kaufmann, our CEO and author of the book, tell you what you will find in it:

The best part? You will get for free with your SEOcrawl annual subscription!

Colors and Icons in Tags

We want SEOcrawl to be more and more visual so that you can get as much information as possible at one glance. That's why, we have implemented a system for your project tags, which can now have the colors and tags you wish.

To set up this function, access the Tag option within Rank Tracker and click on the Manage Tags button, which you will find on the upper right. You will be able to choose colors and icons for each of the tags in your project within the Rules section. This way, if you make the Brand tag red, it will be much easier to identify the corresponding keywords at a glance.

Indexation Improvements

We keep on working on the indexation function to perfect it and turn it into one of your essentials in SEOcrawl. We have implemented two attractive options this month:

  • On the one hand, you can now decide to activate auto-indexing (or not) based on your strategy or the stage you are working on at the moment.

  • On the other hand, both in the graph and in the sitemap's URLs, you can view the indexed pages to follow up on them and detect issues promptly.

That's not all! We keep on working on this option and will soon have news to bring you.

Text Format on Annotations

We want the annotations to be a truly useful functionality for your everyday work, so we need them to be as descriptive as possible. It is true that being able to keep track of performed actions to later identify their impact on traffic or conversion is already very interesting, but sometimes, more information is needed.

From now on, the text used in the annotation's description admits different formats and link (soon images, too), which will help you enrich the description of performed actions and thus replicate those with the best results.

New Devices Page

At this point, we all understand the need to identify where traffic comes from and what devices your users take on to access your web, as your strategy can fail or succeed based on that simple detail.

At SEOcrawl we are well aware of that and, that's why, we have improved the Devices page, where we have added an active graph displaying click distribution, impressions, CTR and average position by device (desktop, mobile and tablet).

Additionally, in the lower section, you can access detailed information about each of the devices within a drop-down list, where you will be able to see keyword distribution in a heatmap.

That's all for now, but we are entering the last part of the year with the same impulse to continue working and implementing practical functionalities that make your life and work much easier... with our minds set on 2025!

Ar you still not using SEOcrawl for your SEO projects' analysis and reporting? Request a DEMO, and we will explain you all the software can do for you and grant you a free Entreprise account for 14 days so that you can test it at your own pace.
