What is an SEO crawler?
An SEO crawler visits the pages of your website the way a search engine does and reports anything that can hurt your rankings: broken pages, redirects, noindex or canonical problems, sitemap and hreflang errors, missing tags. The SEOcrawl AI Crawler does it in the cloud and scores your site by category.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The Crawler runs in the cloud, so there is nothing to install and no limit set by your computer. Your crawl history is stored, so you can compare crawls over time.
Can I crawl only some pages?
Yes. You can crawl the whole site (seeded from your sitemaps and Google Search Console), a list of URLs you choose, or only your top organic pages.
Does the Crawler respect robots.txt?
Yes. URLs blocked by robots.txt are not crawled, and the Crawl Log shows them with the reason, together with duplicates, off-site URLs and other skipped URLs.
Is there an SEO crawler API?
Every plan includes the MCP server, so you can create crawler projects, launch crawls and read issues from ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor. The REST API is included in the Agency and Enterprise plans.
How is it different from the free SEO audit?
The free SEO audit checks one URL instantly, without an account. The Crawler audits your whole site, keeps the history, runs on a schedule and sends alerts.
